Workshop Summary
The 20th ICGC Scientific Workshop / 7th ARGO Meeting took place in New York, USA from 7–9 November 2023, hosted by colleagues from the Weill Cornell Cancer Precision Medicine Program (WC-CPMP). The invitation-only meeting brought together researchers and collaborators from across the global cancer genomics community to share updates, research progress and collaborative initiatives within the International Cancer Genome Consortium’s ARGO program.
Over three days, participants gathered at the Cornell Tech campus on Roosevelt Island for keynote talks, scientific sessions, and working group discussions focused on topics such as cancer genome diversity, data sharing, and advances in genomic oncology.
The workshop provided an important opportunity for the international research community to connect in person, exchange insights, and strengthen collaboration aimed at accelerating discoveries and improving outcomes for people affected by cancer.
